The Camp de Florence is located 500m from La Romieu, apicturesque fortified village, first established in the 11th century by pilgrims travelling to Santiago de Compostella in Spain. Dominating the centre of the village is the magnificent 13th century church (collégiale) with its cloisters,frescos and towers. The collégiale is a UNESCO listedworld monument. A fascinating guided tour is not to be missed.
